Tiger tracking in Chitwan National Park which is 962 sq. Km is the very accessible destination for any one coming to Nepal . The Chitwan National park with 50 + Mammals , 700 + different species of birds, lot of reptiles and the varieties of Flora and Fauna is the most rich national park of Nepal . Due to the rich water supplies inside the Chitwan National Park through multiple small and big rivers flowing through the park , the animals , birds and reptiles have always been growing and breeding inside the park .
The big 5 : Bengal tiger , One horned Rhinocerous , Asian Elephant , Sloth Beer, Leopard all are native the Chitwan National Park , and since there are large no of rhinos in this park, the government has migrated Many of them the other different national park and gifted them to other countries as a souvineer .
With the tiger population nearly tripled in nepal from 121 to 355 in 2022, Chitwan National Park is home to 128 tigers as per 2022 tiger census , but in 2024 , the authority are claiming to have 190 + tigers in Chitwan so Tiger Tracking in Chitwan is not Impossible .
